ICAN-4
Like the previous two editions, ICAN4was also the outcome of collaboration between DME and Deakin
University, Melbourne, Australia. This edition grew to be the largest and the biggest media conference
organized by educational institutions.
The collaborative nature of the conference got reinforced by large number of partners. The last-minute
support that came from the ICSSR proved an icing on the cake.
The most unique feature of the conference was that all 9 technical sessions were chaired and co-chaired by
women scholars representing different states of India.Highlights of the fourth edition:
– Total 36 Sessions in 10 days
– 7 Panels, 3 Workshops, 10 Master Classes and 3 Special Sessions
– 60 eminent persons from academics and industry
– 9 Technical Sessions – 60 Presentations by over 100 scholars
– 30 Indian universities, 4 institutions of higher learning6 foreign universities :
– Participation from 5 – continents – 11 countries– India, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore,
– Bangladesh, USA, Mexico, France, Italy, Australia and Ghana
– International Partner: Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia
– Production of 38 videos with the run time of more than 60 hours
– All content posted on YouTube based channel DME TVWith 5 Knowledge Partners :
