The first edition of ICAN was well received by media educators, researchers and practitioners. It was
inaugurated by Mark Tully, celebrated journalist and former New Delhi Bureau Chief of BBC.Highlights of the first edition:
– 172 Abstracts, out of which 124 were approved in peer review
– 124 Papers: 99 in English and 25 in Hindi
– Presentation of 74 papers in 12 technical sessions
